Is it better to buy an RTX 4080 laptop now or wait for the RTX 5070 Ti?

I’m considering getting an HP Omen 16 that comes with an Intel® Core™ i9-14900HX at 2.2 GHz and an RTX 4080 for around 2100 euros. I’m wondering if it’s worth investing in this laptop now or if I should hold off until the RTX 5070 Ti laptops are released. What do you all think?

Yeah, the 4080 looks like a solid choice! The 5070 Ti might hit around 115 W with less CUDA cores, while still offering that 12 GB memory but in GDDR7. The 4080 already has some great specs according to NVIDIA, so it might be worth grabbing it now instead of waiting!

I’d go for the RTX 4080 if I were you. It’s likely going to outperform the upcoming 5070 Ti, especially if you aren’t really set on exclusive features like 4x frame generation. Plus, the pricing seems reasonable for what you’re getting.
