I’ve been using mouse acceleration for a long time without realizing what it really does. My current settings are 800 DPI with 1.6 sensitivity, and while my aim is decent, I wouldn’t call it exceptional. I’ve been playing for about two years now. Should I consider turning off mouse acceleration? I tried playing without it, and it felt really challenging, making it harder to hit my targets. Is it worth the effort to relearn my aim? I’d love to hear any advice you guys have!

Definitely turn off mouse acceleration! It usually helps with precision in games. Just make sure to also disable ‘enhanced pointer precision’ in your Windows settings for the best results.
Same here! I’d suggest disabling improved pointer precision too. It can make a big difference in how accurately you move your mouse.
Yeah, I recommend disabling mouse acceleration. Many gamers find their aim improves significantly without it. You might need some time to adjust, but it’s generally worth that effort!
