I accidentally placed a magnet on my PC case, but I haven’t powered it up yet since I don’t have a monitor. Is this something to worry about, or will my PC be fine?

You can always just try it out, but I think you’re going to be fine!
There’s no way to be 100% certain without giving it a try, but I think you’re fine. Just make sure it wasn’t directly on or near your hard disk drive—that’s where you’d worry the most.
You should be okay! Some components like fan controllers or RGB hubs might even use magnets to attach inside the case. Unless your magnet is super strong and in a weird spot, no need to panic here!
Honestly, you’re just asking for trouble! Just kidding, but seriously, it’s probably fine.
It really depends on the type of magnet you used. If it’s just a weak fridge magnet, you’re totally fine. However, if it’s a strong neodymium magnet, especially if it’s close to the chips or drives, you might run into some issues. But knowing you haven’t powered it up yet, you’re probably in the clear!
I saw a video where only the strongest magnets could really cause trouble, so you should be good!

I placed it at the bottom right of my case. Does that change anything?
