I’ve recently borrowed a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 and I’m curious if now is a good moment to dive in. I know there are expansions available, but I want to know if there are still any major patches or quality-of-life improvements coming that I should hold out for before I get too far into the game. I’ve had experiences before where significant updates came out after I started playing, which was frustrating. So should I just go ahead and play it now?

Yeah, the game is in a solid state now. You can jump in without worrying about waiting for more updates; it’s pretty much done at this point.
Totally agree! Version 2.0 was a game changer, and the DLC made it even better. Trust me, it’s been fun for a while now. CDPR has shifted focus to other projects like Witcher 4, so this is as polished as it’ll get for Cyberpunk. Perfect time to start!
Binge it now! If you liked the vibe of DEATHLOOP, I think the narrative style in Cyberpunk could hook you too.
Gotcha, thanks for the heads up! I’m just looking for something to get lost in this summer since the last few titles were amazing for me.
