Hey everyone! I’m a big fan of RPGs, but I sometimes struggle if I get defeated too easily. I’ve owned The Witcher 3 and its DLCs for a while now, and I’d really like to know if there’s a way to grind levels to make the game easier. Thanks for the help!

Witcher 3 doesn’t really have a traditional grinding system like some other RPGs. Most of your XP comes from quests and contracts rather than farming the same enemies. So, it’s best to focus on completing every side quest and notice-board contract you come across.
Yeah, you can grind if you look for free-roaming monsters while exploring the world, but they might be a bit sparse. The best way to level up is through bounty contracts, especially after the game opens up a couple of hours in.
You can grind a bit, but it won’t be like grinding in games such as Oblivion or Skyrim. It’s usually quicker and more effective to go for side hunts and quests, and you’ll outlevel the main story in no time.
You can definitely become overpowered for the main story by tackling side quests and exploring. I had to steer clear of grinding because I still enjoy a good challenge in the main plot.
Don’t worry too much about grinding. The XP scaling is pretty fair on default difficulty. Just engage in side quests and contracts occasionally, and you’ll keep progressing smoothly in the main story.
