Is Gaming on My Phone Worth It?

-

I need some advice! We have only one gaming system at home, and my boyfriend usually monopolizes it at night. I’m left wanting something to play games or just chill out, but all I have is a Samsung Chromebook, which isn’t great for gaming. Since I have a Samsung phone too, I’m wondering if that would work for gaming, especially to unwind at night. Is it really worth getting into mobile gaming?

Consider getting a Switch; it’s portable, lightweight, and can be played on the TV or handheld. It has a good selection of remastered PS4 games and plenty of other titles. Just keep in mind it’s not for graphically intense games, but there are still lots of fun options!

I’m waiting for the new Switch too, but I’m worried it won’t have some of the games I want like Slime Rancher or Outlast Trials.

I’ve got a bunch of game systems, and I still find myself gaming on my phone a lot! If you’re after more of a console-like experience, try pairing your phone with a game controller. You can run many emulators for systems like PS2, Gamecube, or PSP, and most modern phones handle those pretty well!

I want to play the new PS5 games and a mix of old and new PS4 games.

If you’re not playing very often or diving into heavy games, your phone sounds perfect for you. It’s a good way to play casually if you’re just looking to enjoy gaming at night when the PS5 is tied up.

I want to sit in with my boyfriend while he plays and game at night too, lol.
