I’ve been using Firefox for a while, but after watching a video about some recent changes to their privacy settings, I’m considering switching to a different browser. I’ve tried Opera GX before and liked its customization and gaming features, but I can’t quite remember why I switched away from it. I’m open to giving it another shot, especially since it has a built-in free VPN. What about the regular Opera? Are there other browsers I should check out? Just to clarify, I’m not interested in switching to Linux, as I still feel pretty new to using PCs. I should also mention that right before I saw that video—by SomeOrdinaryGamers— I started receiving a weird surge of spam and scam emails, which made me even more wary about Firefox.

Honestly, for privacy-focused options, it’s really down to Firefox or something based on it, like Librewolf or Zen. Brave also gets a lot of love for privacy. But if you don’t care about that, just choose the browser you find the most enjoyable to use!
If you’re leaving Firefox for privacy reasons, switching to most Chrome-based browsers, like Opera GX, might not be the best idea. You could consider Firefox alternatives like Brave for better privacy. If you’re not too concerned about that, any browser like Chrome, Edge, or Opera will work just fine—pick the one that feels right for you!
I’m probably just gonna try a couple out to see which one clicks for me at this point.
