I’ve been hearing a lot about the Dragonbane tome and its gameplay from bards and locals, and it sounds intriguing. I’ve always wanted to try Ruin Masters, which has that percentile RPG feel similar to Runequest. Now, I’m feeling torn. Can I modify Dragonbane to work better with d100 systems? Also, can it be played for more than 20 sessions? For those of you who have played both Dragonbane and Ruin Masters, how do they stack up against each other?

Dragonbane runs on a d20 roll under system. While you *could* convert it to a d100 roll under by tweaking the math, you’d end up making a lot of changes. Honestly, if you want to play a d100 system, why not just stick with Ruin Masters? New doesn’t always mean better. You might enjoy the original system more!
I get where you’re coming from! Plus, the original *Demons and Dragons* was derived from Basic Roleplaying, so switching to a d100 would kind of just circle back to that style. Just a thought!
