Hey everyone! How many of you have decided to link your Warframe account with Steam, knowing it’s a permanent action? I’m curious if binding is the only way to enable the Auto Login feature. Also, if I change my mind later and turn off the auto-login, will I still be able to log in using my email and password like usual?

I bound my account, and yeah, that’s the only method for auto-login. But don’t worry, if you decide to turn off auto-login, you can still log in with your email and password just fine on other platforms too!
I choose to skip the auto-login for this one reason: I’m super comfortable typing my password now. It’s become second nature for me, so I don’t mind it. I’d rather keep my account unbound.
Totally get that! I’m used to typing my password too. It’s just hitting that ‘Play’ button that feels like an extra step sometimes.
I’m just way too paranoid to bind my account. The risk doesn’t seem worth it to me.
I get that! I want to use the auto-login too, but I worry that if Steam ever goes down, I wouldn’t be able to play Warframe again. Has Steam had major hacks before?
I also hesitate to tie my accounts together. Typing my password doesn’t feel like a hassle, so I just stick with that.
Yup! You can indeed use auto-login on Steam, but I’m not sure if you can turn it off easily. Don’t worry though, you can always log in through the regular launcher if you change your mind.
You can actually turn off auto-login in Steam if you want. Just so you know!
Exactly! Just like he said. You can disable auto-login in Steam and still access the game using the regular launcher.
