Is Apex Legends still worth playing?

-

I just got back into Apex Legends after a two-year break, but it feels really empty and the matchmaking is frustrating. I want to know if there’s still a way to have fun with this game! By the way, I’m quite skilled at it, but the lack of good teammates takes a lot of the enjoyment out of it.

Honestly, if you’re not enjoying the game, maybe just step back and try something else? There’s no secret to having fun; it either clicks for you or it doesn’t. And it’s definitely not dead! Unless you’re in a less populated region, you should find matches pretty easily.

I get your point, but maybe tone it down a bit? It’s just about preferences.

I find that having friends to play with makes all the difference. Random matches can be pretty brutal with no rewards, and I miss playing with a squad. It’s tough when you don’t have regular gaming buddies around.

That’s my situation too! We should team up sometime.

You really need to be good at Apex to enjoy it now. The player base has gotten better, so you can’t just easily dominate like before. Most casual players have either quit or improved, which makes it tougher, for sure.

Totally get that! I used to be bad too, but I’ve improved a lot since then.

GamerGuru1989 -

Nah, the game’s not dead! There are plenty of players out there. The matchmaking can feel tough, mainly because one mistake punishes you hard, but maybe try Arena mode? You get more chances to make mistakes and still enjoy the game.

But you can still end up losing a lot in Arenas, too.

CasualLegend84 -

It’s definitely not dead. I’m still playing a few times a week, and I still find it fun!

While it isn’t dead, the matchmaking can be rough. It’s a high-skill game, and one bad player can turn a lobby upside down.
