Is Anyone Else Finding the Game Too Easy Even on Hard Mode?

-

I’ve been playing with a Dual Pistol build focused on dodging and some Warrior skills, and I’m breezing through enemies. I’m even considering switching to Path of the Damned difficulty, but honestly, I had rough experiences with that level in the previous game. Is it just me, or is anyone else finding it easy?

It’s interesting how the difficulty feels different depending on your build. I started on normal and had some close calls, but once I hit the second area, I barely broke a sweat against the enemies. It seems like the game gets easier as you progress, especially if you’ve got a solid build and keep your gear up to date.

Yeah, I think the challenge really varies by playstyle. If you’re sticking to one weapon type and grinding upgrades, it’s really manageable. Those of us who mix builds might run into tougher times just because of the gear mismatch.

I’ve had a pretty chill time with the game too. Even playing with two-handed weapons, I found combat to be mostly easy once I figured out synergies with my loadout. It can feel tedious at times, especially when enemies just sponge hits but don’t really challenge your tactics.

Exactly! Most of my deaths came from environmental hazards, not enemy encounters. It’s kinda funny how much easier the game feels once you master your build.

Honestly, even on Path of the Damned, I found it fairly easy if I kept upgrading my gear consistently. The beginning can be tough, especially if you’re not optimized, but overall, it’s not much different from the first game, just more enemies. You really don’t have to stress about it as long as you stay ahead in gear quality.

Totally agree! Once you start getting legendary weapons and armor, things just become a cakewalk. It’s like the game really encourages experimentation with builds, so you can end up overpowering everything.

I feel like the game starts off tough, especially in the beginner zones, but it becomes way more manageable once you understand the mechanics. The only real spikes are when you’re under-leveled in certain areas, but otherwise, it feels like combat is more about managing gear than the actual fights.

Yeah, I had to focus on keeping my gear up to par, otherwise, I found myself struggling against tougher enemies. Once I stacked some buffs and upgrades, though, it was smooth sailing.
