I’ve got a pretty decent gaming PC—not top-of-the-line, but it usually runs most games on High or Ultra settings without ray tracing. However, in this remaster, I’m only getting around 40 fps even with everything set to the lowest on 1440p. The framerate improves a bit in dungeons, but outside, it’s definitely a rough experience. My drivers are all updated, and I’ve seen some players say it runs well for them. According to the Steam recommended specs, my setup isn’t far off. Here are my specs: RTX 3080, 16 GB RAM, and a Ryzen 5 5600x. After trying out the ‘Ultimate Engine Tweaks’ from Nexus, the game mostly runs above 60fps on high settings now!

I’m running a 4080 with a 7800x3D and 32GB RAM at 1440p Ultra and I average about 120fps outside with a cap at 170 indoors. I’ve run into some stutters, but a mod I found on Nexus cleared most of that up. Though, it would still be great if the stuttering was completely resolved.
My performance gets kind of choppy too, but that’s because the game is installed on a hard drive instead of an SSD. If you’ve got an SSD, it might help!
Yeah, this game is notorious for having optimization issues, especially with UE5. If you grab some performance mods, you should see a big improvement in how it runs!
I’ve got a 3080, 9800x3D, and 64GB RAM, playing at 1440p on Ultra. I capped my framerate at 60 for smoother gameplay, but it still dips to around 45 in areas like the woods and Harcane Grove. Definitely feels less consistent there!
I hear you! I’ll definitely check out Nexus for some of those mods.
