Hey everyone! I’m a newbie to Warframe and just discovered it’s available on Xbox and PlayStation, which made me think about controllers. I want to know if I can rely solely on an Xbox controller once I start playing, or will I need to use a mouse and keyboard for certain tasks?

I’ve been using an Xbox controller almost all the time, and it feels pretty much the same as playing on a console—easy and familiar!
You can switch between using a controller and mouse+keyboard as you like! If you have a PlayStation controller, that works too, but a regular Xbox controller will get you through most missions just fine.
Just to add, if you’re playing on console, are you familiar with how you might handle chatting with other players? I know some folks connect a mouse and keyboard to their consoles for a better experience.
You’ll definitely want a keyboard for in-game chat, especially for trading, which is a big part of the game. You can fully enjoy playing with a controller, but some players find mouse and keyboard to be a better experience overall.
