Hey everyone! I have a bit of a burning question. Is there any chance that Age of Imprisonment will be available on the original Switch? I’m super excited about this game, yet it seems like I won’t be able to get my hands on a Switch 2 for at least a year or two. Outside of Mario Kart, this is definitely my most anticipated title for the next generation, and I’m quite bummed thinking I might miss out for a while!

Honestly, I wish it was coming to the original Switch! But with everything I’ve heard, it really needs the power of the new console to handle the game better.
Yeah, most likely it won’t be on the original Switch. They want to push the new hardware hard, especially since it’s tied to a new Zelda title coming out.
I’m with you on this! It’s a bummer knowing we won’t see it on the original Switch. Age of Calamity had its performance issues, making me think they need the Switch 2 to really do it justice!
Unfortunately, it looks like Age of Imprisonment is going to be a Switch 2 exclusive. Nintendo is really trying to promote their new console, and this title seems to be part of that strategy.
