I’ve noticed that more players are using both a red dot and a 3x scope, and it got me thinking—wouldn’t it be smart to use a canted sight with a 3x scope? This could save some inventory space and allow for quicker toggling between sights instead of having to open the inventory and swap them manually. Are there any major drawbacks to using a canted sight other than how it feels awkward?

One big downside is that the 3x scope can take up a large part of your screen when using the canted sight, which might make it hard to see enemies clearly. Also, I’ve heard it can affect your gun’s recoil pattern, but I haven’t tested it much myself.
The canted sight definitely has its quirks—it makes the gun feel like it’s pushed forward in a weird way. I usually go for a red dot for close encounters; I’d prefer a dot mounted on my scope over a canted sight any day.
Yeah, if they could improve the zoom options on the canted sight, maybe it would become more viable. It feels like it could use a boost to fit better into the meta.
I tried it out in the training lobby and didn’t notice much change in the recoil pattern. The 3x didn’t actually cover that much of my screen either. Sure, it could obscure an enemy occasionally, but it seems pretty unlikely. Plus, having the canted sight lets you peek a bit more to the side, which could be an advantage. Just need to find one in a game to really test it!
