I’m considering a 60Hz 65-inch 4K HDR TV for my PS5, but I’ve noticed that upgrading to a 144Hz model would cost an extra $500. Is the 60Hz option fine for gaming, or should I invest in the higher refresh rate for better performance?

‘Game mode’ is kind of overrated; it mostly disables features that could actually improve your gaming experience rather than enhancing it. Just something to keep in mind!
I recommend going for something like the LG C4. It was around $700 for me and it has features like VRR that enhance gaming! Definitely worth it for the long term.
I would suggest at least considering the TCL 6-Series. I went for the 5-Series, which tops out at 60Hz. While the picture quality and HDR are amazing, I regret missing out on 120Hz gaming.
It’s better to spend a little more to get a TV with at least 120Hz, HDR, and a game mode that supports HDMI 2.1. It’ll make a difference in your gaming experience, especially with the PS5.
Totally agree with that! It’s worth the investment.
