Is a 4K Monitor Worth It for a 5080 Graphics Card?

-

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting a 4K monitor to pair with my 5080 graphics card. I’ve seen those monitors priced around $800-900, especially the 240Hz ones. Do you think it’s a good investment, or should I consider something else? What are your thoughts on how well it performs for gaming?

I have a 5080 and a 4K OLED setup, and it runs beautifully! With DLSS and some frame generation, the picture quality is top-notch for single-player games. If competitive gaming’s not your main focus, I’d say go for it! Just don’t expect to hit 240 FPS in every game.

If you’re thinking about raw FPS, 1440p might be a better choice, especially for fast-paced games.

Totally agree! DLSS really helps with the performance. Not needing to run everything at max settings feels great.
