I’ve been tanking veteran dungeons and trials with my 20k health Oakensoul Nightblade, and I’m not planning to change my setup. My teammates in these dungeons don’t seem to mind it, and sometimes I even manage to solo bosses! It feels like the Oakensoul mythic item allows you to perform well in any role regardless of your build. Anyone else have similar experiences or tips?

I’ve been doing something similar with my Oakensoul Sorcerer! The key is really knowing your mechanics and finding a good flow with your group. Have you tried Graven Deep yet? It’s a tough one, but doable with the right tactics!
You might want to rethink that 20k health setup. While you might be holding aggro, tanking’s more than just taunting. You need to consider things like armor penetration and managing adds. It’s not just about surviving but supporting your team too!
Honestly, I’m all for unconventional tanking! If you can survive hits and control the mobs without going down, that’s really what matters. Just remember, an efficient tank can make the run smoother for everyone!
I also run an Oakensoul build, but I can’t imagine going in with just 20k health! What’s your gear setup? It sounds like you should be buffing your team way more effectively than just focusing on your own survivability.
Right? I can’t see how you can manage vet runs with that low a health pool and actually help the team.
I’ve heard of people tanking with low health, but it can lead to a slippery slope in harder content! Which dungeons or trials have you tackled with this build? I just feel like it might lead to some frustrating runs, especially in DLC content.
Haha, very true! It takes more than just a low health pool to carry your team, right?
