I’m planning to start an ‘All the Mods 10’ server for me and my five friends, and I’m considering using Akliz for hosting. They’ve recommended the Hero tier, which provides 4GB of RAM. Do you think this is enough for our setup, or should I consider more? Some folks suggest needing around 10-12GB.

I managed to make do with 8GB for a pretty hefty modpack, so it’s doable, but keep in mind that more players might make things more demanding. It could work for smaller groups, but I’d still recommend bumping it up if you can afford it.
4GB is more suited for small, vanilla servers with a couple of players, not a heavily modded setup like this. You should definitely look at 10-12GB if you want things to run smoothly with five friends tagging along.
For a server with a big modpack like ‘All the Mods 10’ and six players, 4GB of RAM is going to be way too low. Honestly, you’d want at least 12GB to keep things running smoothly, maybe even pushing it up to 16GB just to be safe.
