I ordered a 2×16 Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 RAM from an authorized retailer, and their website said it was a dual rank module. However, after receiving it and checking the module number, I found out it’s actually single rank. Is this significant enough to warrant a call for a refund and wait for the right RAM? My specs are Ryzen 5 5500, B450M A Pro Max II, and RX 6650 XT.

Dual rank versus single rank can really differ in performance, especially in certain settings. If your motherboard supports dual-channel configurations, having two sticks will generally provide better bandwidth, which can benefit gaming and other applications. If you’re not planning to add more RAM soon, I’d suggest reaching out to them for a refund to get what you originally ordered.
Sounds like a solid plan! Might as well get what you paid for, right?
