I Broke My Arm – What One-Handed Games Can I Play?

-

Hey everyone! I recently broke my arm and I’m looking for recommendations on video games that can be easily played using just one hand. So far, I’ve been playing Balatro, but I’d love to hear your suggestions!

Have you considered using a specialized mouse? Like the Razer Naga? You can map multiple functions to your thumb buttons, which effectively makes lots of games playable one-handed! If you’re into RPGs, Baldur’s Gate 3 is amazing and very playable with just a mouse!

That’s actually a smart idea! I should look into that for my setup.

I use mine for Hitman and it works fabulously!

There’s this curator on Steam called ‘One-Handed Gamer.’ He’s got specific recommendations for games that you can play one-handed! Brotato and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor are spot-on; both are easy to pick up. Just remember, you can find a ton of rogue-lite titles that fit this style too!

Great find! I’ll check out those recommendations!

You can’t go wrong with Slay the Spire, but don’t overlook Civilization! It’s perfect for one-handed play as well. Plus, Civ 7 is on the horizon, so it’s a good time to dive in! If you want something that’s hands-on but chill, give the Sims a shot too!

Civ 6 is my go-to! Can’t wait for the new one!

Final Fantasy games are also decent options, especially the turn-based ones!

CardMaster23 -

Slay the Spire is a fantastic choice! It’s turn-based and requires only one hand. Another great option is Vampire Survivors; it’s super easy to control with just a stick. You might also want to check out Monster Train for a similar vibe while mixing in some unit placement strategies! Just remember, you can enjoy a lot with turn-based games!

Definitely! Monster Train really spices up those card mechanics!

Vampire Survivors is incredibly engaging too, you’ll love it!
