I’ve had an amazing time with Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 on my PC, despite some bugs that I managed with console commands. My PC might not handle the sequel, but my PS5 can. Before I make a purchase, I’m curious about how it performs on PS5. Will I miss those console commands, or are they not really needed? Also, how’s the control scheme with a controller—still immersive, or has it been simplified?

I’ve had a similar experience. The combat feels familiar if you’ve played the first game, and once you get a hang of the controller layout, it’s easy to adjust. The load times are insane—fast traveling and sleeping are super quick. Plus, the graphics are stunning!
I own the PS5 Pro and did encounter some weird rendering and shadow flickering in various areas, especially in certain viewpoints. But the latest update actually fixed most of the flickering issues!
It runs smoothly on my PS5 too! The recent patch resolved a lot of the flickering problems. Overall, it’s a fantastic upgrade.
