I’m currently facing Lorraakan and struggling a bit. I followed Eileen to the fight, and since I’m level 10 (the same level as Lorraakan), I thought it would be manageable. However, right after we watched the dialogue, a fire elemental nearly wiped out my squad with just one hit! Everyone was clustered together, which messed up my strategy as I couldn’t separate the fighters quickly enough. I’ve already lost one fight and almost lost a second.
Is this fight too early for me? I’m trying to figure out where to gain more experience in Act 3 since I’ve already completed the quest with the red dwarf, got Gale’s books, and explored the cemetery. I’m still stuck at level 10. I’m playing on balance difficulty and this is my first solo playthrough. Should I consider downgrading to Travel difficulty? Any tips for getting through Act 3 would be greatly appreciated!

Level 10 is good, but you might want to focus on boosting your Initiative to go first in battle. It really helps to create an advantage. Elixirs of Vigilance are great for bumping up your initiative stat!
Level 10 is definitely fine for him! Focus on taking out the elementals first before you go after Lorroakan. He has this nasty auto attack that gets triggered when you hit him, especially if there are elementals alive. Try to spread your characters out right from the start—his AOE attacks can really mess you up otherwise. Don’t stress if you take a hit at the beginning; just make sure to heal up afterward!
I tried summoning my own elementals too, but they just get obliterated by his fire! It’s frustrating! Not sure why Roland is being a pain either. Just gotta navigate it carefully.
You’re actually at the right level for Lorroakan. If you’re having a hard time, it’s okay to come back to him later! Act 3 has loads of XP to grind, so explore and level up a bit more before challenging him again.
You can also stun or paralyze him at the start to give yourself a nice advantage! Just be careful, since that first hit might trigger an elemental reaction, but after that, you should be clear to start wailing on him.
