I’ve recently upgraded my setup with a B650 Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX V2 motherboard, a Lian Li Lancool 207 case, and a Peerless Assassin SE ARGB cooler. However, I’m having trouble with getting the RGB lights of my fans to sync with my RAM. When I boot my PC, the fan lights come on, but they don’t match the RAM’s colors. I’ve tried using the Gigabyte software, but it seems like the fans aren’t recognized by the software at all. A technician suggested it could be a software issue since I also re-plugged the 3-pin header. Is there a way to get everything to sync up?

It sounds like your RGB fans are stuck in their default lighting mode during boot, which is common. Usually, once the control software is up and running in Windows, it should take over and sync everything. However, if that’s not happening, you might need to check if the fans are compatible with the Gigabyte RGB Fusion software. Make sure you have the latest version of the software installed. Also, try ensuring that the fans are correctly connected to the RGB header on the motherboard. Sometimes, a simple reconnect can fix detection issues.
Totally agree! I’ve had similar issues. Updating the software often helps, and check whether you need to enable RGB settings in the BIOS. Some motherboards have options to control RGB lights right from the BIOS menu, which can help with initial detection.
