A while back, I purchased Minecraft Java Edition from the official website. After getting a new gaming PC about a year ago, I tried to log in and download the launcher again, but it’s asking me to buy the game again! Can anyone help me figure out how to recover my game?

Have you migrated your account to a Microsoft account? That’s usually necessary for recovery these days.
Unfortunately, if you didn’t migrate your account, you might have to repurchase the game. It can be a hassle, but check with the support just in case!
