I just finished a clean install of Windows and I saved my “interface” folder for World of Warcraft. However, when I try copying it into my “_classic_era_” directory, WoW isn’t recognizing any of the add-ons. Is there something else I need to do to get them to work?

Before you do anything else, double-check that your add-ons are actually in the interface folder you restored. Also, if you didn’t back up your WTF folder, your settings will be reset to defaults.
