Hey everyone! My buddy and I have been grinding Dolmen Groups and just hit around 170 champion points. We’re now looking to gear up for entry-level PvP, but I’m a bit puzzled about how to actually make gold through combat. I’ve heard various methods, but not many seem focused on combat-related activities. Can we duo dungeons and sell the drops, or are there better ways? We’re eager to find a fun way to earn gold to shop at Guild Traders, so any combat-related suggestions would be great!

Have you thought about farming motif masks? The crown store sells arms pack motifs during certain sales, and the dungeons drop mask outfits that can go for anywhere from 500k to 1 million gold. That’s a good route for making cash!
You can’t sell dungeon gear drops as those are bound to your group. However, questing is a solid choice with decent gold returns. Also, targeting dungeons that drop motifs can be profitable since those can fetch a nice price at guild traders.
Raiding is a solid way to go! You can loot loads of heavy sacks and treasure chests containing Bind on Equip (BoE) items, which you can then sell. I’ve also been farming while waiting for Battleground queues, and it’s been a nice side income!
I usually make some gold from PvP rewards from the Worthy loot boxes, even if it’s just a few thousand each time. But hey, it adds up! Plus, don’t sleep on Tales of Tribute; the rewards can sometimes include valuable motifs. You can also check out Infinite Archive for gear drops, but the loot from vendors is often where the real money is at.
Just a heads up, make sure you know the difference between public dungeon drops and four-man dungeon drops. The latter can’t be traded outside your group. You can make money killing mobs for their drops, but you might need to grind a bit in heavily populated areas to get a steady flow.
Do most motifs sell regularly?
