I’m trying to play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK) using Ryujinx emulator, but I’m only getting around 10-15fps, which is pretty choppy. I’ve been searching for good Ryujinx settings specifically for TOTK, but most guides I find are about Yuzu or just suggest switching to Yuzu. I’m currently using the version of Ryujinx that comes with EmuDeck, and my game version is 1.0.0. Can anyone share their Ryujinx settings or tips to get playable performance?

The best bet is to update your Ryujinx to the latest version and try applying some optimizations like the Steam Deck profile mod from nx-optimizer on GitHub. That helped a good amount in my setup to boost performance. Lowering resolution settings in the emulator might help too, but don’t expect huge leaps since Ryujinx is still behind Yuzu in optimization for TOTK.
If you’re stuck with Ryujinx, just keep an eye out for updates because the developers are making slow improvements. But for now, playability might remain an issue. Sadly, there isn’t much you can do besides trying mods or reducing graphical settings where possible.
Honestly, the main reason people push Yuzu over Ryujinx for TOTK is that Yuzu handles the game way better right now. Ryujinx doesn’t have many advanced performance tweaks for this title, so you’re kinda limited. If swapping to Yuzu isn’t an option, your best shot is definitely tweaking resolution and making sure Ryujinx is fully updated.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check out that mod and update Ryujinx.
