I’m developing a mod pack for Minecraft Bedrock with a faction-themed concept and want to include the feature of locked chests. My goal is for players to either destroy the chest to loot it or use a mod to physically move the chests from the opposing team’s base to access the contents. This is to prevent simple clicking through chests by other players wandering into bases. Any suggestions or ideas on how to make this happen would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone! 👍

Have you tried implementing a plugin that allows for storage protection? That could offer some level of security, like requiring a code or a key item to access chests, and keep them safe from players just casually opening them.
If you want to add locked chests, an addon like the one on CurseForge might help you. It’s specifically designed for Bedrock edition. You can configure it so that chests require special keys or breaking mechanisms to open. This would align with your faction idea, as players would need a strategy to access the loot.
