How to Get Better with Lissandra as a New Player?

-

I’m new to League of Legends and looking to improve my gameplay. I’ve mainly played Mordekaiser and Vayne, but now I’m trying out Lissandra because she looked cool. I played her in the top lane against a Shen, which was tough but manageable. However, when I switched to mid against an Irelia, I really struggled. Was it just bad luck or is Lissandra hard to play? Any tips for improving my skills with her would be awesome! Thanks!

Lissandra can be tough, especially against more mobile champs like Irelia. You should definitely consider her strengths in the mid lane. She often shines there due to squishier opponents and more chances to roam. Focus on your Q for poking and try to save your E for escaping or engaging after you notice the enemy using their abilities. Avoid getting in close if your opponent has their cooldowns ready, and remember, her ult is super powerful when used at the right moment!

Yeah, also make sure to use your R strategically! It can really turn fights if your team follows up on it.

Definitely! It’s better to save it for team fights or when your jungler is nearby for a gank.

Playing Lissandra top can be tricky unless you really know how to build her. I recommend sticking to mid lane where she can poke and burst down squishy targets more easily. In mid, focus on last hitting minions and building your items efficiently; make sure to use your E for escapes and engage when the enemy burns their cooldowns. Also, try to use your ult for AOE damage in team fights when you’re mid!

Lissandra’s kit can be confusing for new players. Make sure you’re comboing right: auto, Q, auto when trading. And always be aware of your positioning! After 6, you can either focus on bursting the enemy or using your ult on yourself to survive and deal damage. Trust me, it can help in clutch scenarios! Don’t forget to roam and assist your team whenever possible.

I’ve found she’s not as viable top anymore unless you’re a pro with her. In mid, focus on farm and item progression because otherwise, you won’t stand up against more dominant champs. Make use of her E to dodge abilities and set up your W, then unleash your Q and autos. Also, if there are team fights while you’re playing, her passive can really make a difference in the chaos!
