I just got a PS5 DualSense controller to use with my computer, but I’m having trouble connecting it to Fedora 42. After some searching, I found a GitHub repo that said the issue might be with blueZ, but that info is a bit outdated. Has anyone figured out how to get this working?

I’m experiencing the same issue. My DualSense used to connect via Bluetooth, but it’s been acting up lately.
I had a similar issue with my DualShock 4. Blueman wasn’t working for me, but pairing through the terminal using bluetoothctl did the trick. Might be worth a try for the DualSense too! I’ve also started using a Gulikit dongle for better emulation without needing constant pairing.
I’m not using Fedora, but I’m on Arch with the latest blueZ. The KDE Bluetooth wizard usually fails to pair at first, but the controller ends up showing up in my pairing list. If I turn the controller on after that, it connects fine. It’s a bit buggy, but give that a shot!
Thanks, I’ll try turning it on again after the initial pairing!
Have you tried connecting it via USB? That might help you at least get it recognized by your system.
The touchpad worked via USB, but not the controller itself.
Here’s a link that might help: https://www.reddit.com/r/Fedora/s/8r7pw0gi6e. Check it out for some additional troubleshooting tips!
Good to know! I’ll look into the terminal method.
