Hey everyone! I’m currently at C2 rank but feel like I’ve hit a plateau, so I’m taking a break. With the meta constantly shifting in Rocket League, I’m curious about how much I might derank during my time off. Last time I took a break, I dropped to D2 (my peak was C1). If I take a break now, will I really come back and improve, or could I fall even further behind, maybe even to those GC titles in my lobbies?

It really depends on how long you’re off the game. If it’s just a week or so, you’ll probably only see a slight decrease that you can easily recover from. But if you’re out for over 6 months, it might be tougher since everyone else will have leveled up while you were away. Still, I doubt you’d drop below D2 or D3!

I’d say around 2 to 3 months is where you might start noticing it more.
