I’ve been playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance and loved it overall, but now that I’m in what feels like the final stretch, the linear story is draining my motivation. I’ve just finished the quest called The Italian Job, and someone asked me to meet them for a duel next. I thought The Italian Job was the ending, so I’m wondering how many hours I have left before the story actually concludes?

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I pushed through the siege part yesterday and actually enjoyed the story moments with Katherine. Still not completely done, but definitely much closer now. This game is still my favorite of the year, just that doing everything in it was a bit overwhelming!
You’re pretty much at the end of the game now. From what you’ve described, you should expect around 2 to 4 hours left, especially as you’re at the start of the final sequence that wraps things up.
Since you’re so close, it could be worth finishing the main story now and then deciding if you want to tackle the side quests later. That way you won’t have most of the story done and never see how it ends, which is sometimes frustrating!
Yeah, you’ve basically finished the main story. There’s not much left, so it might be worth just powering through to get that satisfying conclusion rather than stopping here.
I get the burnout feeling, but if the story isn’t grabbing you enough to push on, maybe take a break from the game for a bit. Sometimes stepping away helps rekindle your interest, and then you can go back to finish the last part without feeling pressured.
