Hey everyone, I’m thinking about diving into the world of tabletop RPGs and considering investing in some books. Ever since the OGL drama, I’ve been leaning away from D&D, and I had this wild thought of testing out a bunch of different fantasy TTRPGs for a YouTube video. I’m planning to gather a group of friends and try each game for about a month over the next year. I already have a few games in mind like D&D 5E, Pathfinder 2E, and Dungeon Crawl Classics, but I’d love any extra suggestions you might have! What fantasy TTRPGs would you recommend?

Don’t overlook titles like Dragonbane and Forbidden Lands! They each have unique twists on traditional fantasy themes. And if you’re seeking variety, definitely check out Spire and Heart too!
At least a few hundred, if not more! But seriously, trying to pin down a specific number is like asking how many fantasy novels exist—it’s all about what kind of fantasy you’re thinking about!
Exactly! Do you want something traditional, or are you open to urban or gritty settings? The options are endless!
Heard amazing things about Dragonbane, especially for groups that enjoy a classic fantasy vibe!
