How Many Fans Do I Really Need for My First PC Build?

-

I’m in the process of building my first PC and I’ve hit a bit of a snag with my budget. I’m specifically looking at the Hyte Y40 case and I’m curious about how many fans I actually need to have for optimal performance. Also, could anyone recommend some affordable ARGB fans that would fit well? Thanks in advance for your help!

The number of fans you need really depends on a few factors like your PC specs, how hot it gets in your room, and the type of cooler you’re using. Without more details, it’s tough to say how many would be ideal. But generally, you’d want at least one intake and one exhaust fan to keep air flowing properly.
