I have a fun hypothetical scenario: what if I level up non-combat skills like alchemy and stealth all the way to 30 without fighting at all? I know that Henry’s overall level will still go up, but I’m curious about what that actually means for gameplay. Outside of perks, does having a higher overall level make combat easier even though I haven’t touched any combat skills? I’ve been searching for a straight answer but haven’t found one. Thanks!

Henry’s overall level mainly depends on strength, agility, vitality, and speech. So, even if you max out those other skills, your base level could still stay lower—like level 8. If you want to tackle combat more easily, you really need to focus on leveling up strength and agility. The overall level does unlock some perks that are helpful, like Warmonger or Leshy, but for direct combat skills, those primary stats are key.
Thanks for the info! Just to clarify, if I boost agility through games of dice and avoid combat, will that still help me in fights?
