I’m curious about how the MMR system works for Stadiums in Overwatch. My wife and I are getting matched up with players who are in the current top 500, but we’ve never ranked above Masters (and she hasn’t ranked at all). Why is this happening?

It might surprise you to know that the top 500 isn’t as far out of reach as it seems! The ranking can actually extend down to lower tiers, even Bronze 5, which means it reflects the best players in a region for that specific game mode. It doesn’t necessarily mean they are way better than all Masters players.
