I’ve got two PS5 consoles at home, both logged in with the same two accounts—mine and my dad’s. Typically, when I buy a game, my dad can just log into my account on his console and download it, and then he can play it on his account. But recently, when my dad bought a game, I couldn’t do the same; I could only play on his account, which is strange because that’s how we’ve been doing it for years. I’ve been digging into console sharing, and it seems like it’s relevant here, but I’m not sure if I ever activated it. Now, I’m facing another issue where my dad can’t access my games anymore, despite trying numerous fixes. Sorry if I’m not being clear; I’m kind of rushed! Any insights or suggestions would be appreciated!

Just a heads up, if you both have to share the PS5, having two different accounts is really important. You can set one as primary, but you might run into restrictions otherwise. That’s probably the reason your dad suddenly lost access to your games.
Try activating console sharing on your account when logged into your dad’s PS5. Then do the same on your PS5 for his account. This allows both of you to access each other’s games without issues. It worked for me!
It sounds like you need to set one of your PS5s as the primary console for your account. Only one can be designated as primary per account. For game sharing to work, your dad’s PS5 has to be set as primary for your account, so you can both access each other’s games. It’s a bit of a hassle, but that’s how it works. Make sure you’ve got that right!
Does that work both ways? Like, can I still play my games on my dad’s account?
Right, but how does that explain the other account all of a sudden not having access to my games? I might be missing something idk.
