I’ve noticed some heated debates about the chat organization in hardcore modes. Some folks say that the chat is divided by Torment and Normal tiers, while others claim everything is mixed together. Given that the player base is much smaller in hardcore, I’m curious to find out which of these is accurate. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Honestly, I think chat is all over the place. Sometimes, it feels like half the time my chat doesn’t even show up. But from what I’ve noticed, the chats aren’t really separated by Normal and Torment tiers. It’s more mixed than anything.
I’ve heard that chats can vary based on what torment tier you’re in and even the time zone. My clan members often see different chats happening at the same time, so it seems kind of separated.
From my experience in hardcore (especially back in season 5), the community used to be super supportive. People were even giving away gear just to help others stay alive. It’s such a shame that things have gotten more heated now. I miss the days when people were genuinely looking out for each other!
I don’t think hardcore impacts the chat setup that much. It seems more dependent on which server you’re on, rather than just being tier-based. So, if you’re seeing different chats, that’s probably why.
