I started harvesting a field and hired a worker to finish the job. He finished it but all of the grain is sitting on the field in rows. I tried to run over it again with the harvester but it hasn’t collected.
How do you collect the lines of grain from the field if you don’t capture it in a teailer while it is being harvested?

This isn’t grain, this is straw from stem of the plant you just harvested. The harvester actusact stores the valuable grain inside itself. If you get a trailer and park it next to the harvester you can extend the pipe and dump all of the grain from inside into the trailer.
The stuff on the field is still of use but it is not the valuable grain. Get a bailer and you can drive over the straw and turn it into hay bales. These can be sold by driving them to the hay barn.
