One of the first things you need to do once you get to the prison is find the generator and start it up. The generator is located in the north side of the map, but cannot be accessed as it is blocked off by fences and walls. How do you access the generator room in Meriwether prison in the Escapist’s walking dead?

It’s a hard one to figure out if you miss the message telling you what to do. You need a ladder to access the generator. You will need to craft one. Somehow it is possible to do this using 3 empty paint cans. If you look around you will find a rucksack that contains 2 paint cans. All you need to do is find a 3rd can
The 3rd paint can will be hidden in a desk somewhere around the map. Look around and you will eventually find it.
