How do you get to the first key in paranormal productions?

I have been running around the first room for a while and I can’t figure out how to get to the first key. I have found a green boxing glove behind a poster. Found a fire extinguisher that did nothing and found 2 gem reels. Everything other than finding out what to do. I am guessing the green punching glove does something but I can’t figure out what. How do you get to the key in paranormal productions?

You need to use the TV near the door that requires the key. Once you turn it on, go and interact with it and you will be transported through the TVs wire and over to the other TV where you can use your plunger to easily access the key
