I’ve just found a deathmask after killing the plant with the tentacles in the greenhouse. It was on the wall behind it. I have no idea what i am supposed to do with it though, ive not seen anything so far that makes sense.,

you need 4 masks for the cemetery part, get em and go to the underground passage in the graveyard, put the masks on the statues, each one fits a specific statue, thats how u solve the puzzle to move on
This is just the first of 4. Throw it into your storage for now and forget about it until you have come across the other 3. Once you have them all you can go to the crypt in the graveyard to progress with the story.
There are four masks total that you’ll need to use in the mansions cemetery area. Once you collect them, head to the underground passage in the graveyard and place the masks on the statues. Each one fits a statue and you’ll have to align them appropriately. It’s a part of solving the puzzle to progress the story.
