Hey everyone! I’m relatively new to this game, so I hope this isn’t a silly question. I have the Command spell on Wyll’s wheel, but whenever I try to use it and pick a creature, I keep getting a “no target” message as if I never confirmed my selection. Am I using this spell incorrectly? Is it something that can’t be used in combat? Thanks in advance!

Remember, Command only works on targets that can understand language—this means it won’t affect monsters and typically works only on humanoids. That could be why you’re getting the ‘no target’ message. Check the creature type before using it!
If Wyll is level 3 or higher as a Warlock, he casts Command at a higher level automatically. This means you can select multiple targets if you want. Just finish your selection by confirming it, usually by pressing a specific button on your controller. If you only want one target, make sure to indicate that to avoid confusion!
Using the Command spell involves a few steps, so make sure you follow the sequence. First, click on the command spell, and you’ll see a submenu with different command types like ‘drop weapon’, ‘grovel’, or ‘lay prone’. Choose your command and then select your target creature, and it should work like a charm!
