I’ve been hanging out in my friend’s Minecraft world on Xbox with a couple of pals on PS4 and PC. Recently, our friend on PC planted a mangrove tree seedling in our village, and now the trees are sprouting everywhere! There are around 10 trees popping up both inside and outside our village walls. The craziest part is, one even grew on a mountain far away in a cherry tree biome! I’ve tried cutting and burning them down, even planted some pine trees at the source, but they just keep spreading like crazy. Any tips on how to get this under control?

In vanilla Minecraft, trees shouldn’t spread like that. It’s definitely weird that you’re experiencing this. Are you sure nobody’s sneaking seedlings in? Keep an eye on your friends!
It sounds like someone might be planting them, because trees normally don’t spread on their own. Make sure everyone in your group is on the same page about not planting any more seedlings!
Yeah, I get that it can feel like they’re randomly spreading, but it’s usually due to someone in the game still planting them. Check around and keep an eye out!
For real, we thought it might be a glitch at first. I mean, it keeps happening even after we cleared them all!
