Hey everyone! I’m brand new to Diablo 4 (and the Diablo series in general), diving into my first season with some friends. I’m currently leveling my necromancer, who’s almost at level 55. I’ve heard that Kessime’s Legacy is super important for some of the builds I’m considering, but I have no idea how to get it. Can anyone explain where I can find it? Is Lord Zir the best place to farm it, or are there other options? Also, what’s the drop rate like? Should I just ask around for an extra one if it’s easy to get? Thanks for any help—I’m just a noob trying to figure this all out!

You should definitely ask in the trade chat for a non-ancestral version of Kessime’s Legacy! A lot of players are usually willing to just hand them out. But yeah, farming Lord Zir is your best bet to get it. He’s located in Gale Valley, southeast of Kyovashad, and you’ll need 12 Exquisite Blood to summon him. You can collect that blood from various sources like Helltides and Treasure Goblins, so it’s worth the effort.
I think I have a spare pair of Kessime’s Legacy in my stash at home. If you guys need help, just let me know! I can take you along to farm Lord Zir a few times—we should be able to get everyone a pair pretty quickly.
Once you’ve hit level 60, you can unlock Torment mode by running the pit to level 20. Make sure to switch to Torment 1 and then take on Lord Zir. The higher the Torment level, the better your chances of snagging Kessime’s Legacy since he drops more items. Just remember, you’ll still need to summon him with those blood wine bottles!
