I’ve just started playing and I’m confused about how some players have 4-star ancestral gear. Is it all about luck, or is there a specific way to farm for it? So far, I’ve only managed to snag 2-star gear. Also, what’s the best method to obtain mythic uniques?

Honestly, farming 75 to 100 boss runs might sound excessive, but it really does help you gather materials for crafting mythics. You can at least get a random mythic that way, and every mythic comes with at least one good ancestral gear. Just keep at it!
Yeah, it’s mostly about pure RNG! You can increase your chances by playing at higher difficulty levels, like Torment, where the drop rates seem to improve. For uniques and mythics, your best bet is to run bosses like Duriel and Andariel a lot — they have better drop rates compared to other activities. Don’t forget about using the available sparks to create your own mythics if you’ve got the resources.
It’s definitely a challenge to land that elusive 4-star gear. I’ve found that breaking down unwanted mythics into sparks can help you craft what you need for your builds. Just keep running bosses, and maybe you’ll get lucky! Good luck out there, it feels like finding a unicorn sometimes!
Getting 4-star ancestral gear really comes down to RNG, unfortunately. Even though there are plenty of drops this season, it feels like the rates might have been reduced. Personally, I found grinding Headhunts and ancestral caches to be the most effective ways to get better gear. If you have the expansion, you can also farm for legendaries directly with specific tributes. Just remember, it’s a grind and can be a bit dull!
That’s solid advice! I usually focus on farming those bosses too. Just make sure you prep the right builds for them!
