How Do I Easily Unlock Achievement Dyes in ESO?

-

Hey everyone! I’m looking to expand my collection of achievement dyes in ESO, as I’ve mostly focused on crafting and questing so far. My dye options are pretty limited, and I’d love any tips or advice on what dyes are easy to obtain and how to go about earning the necessary achievements. I don’t really engage in PVP, and while my gear is decent, I’m mostly able to solo weaker world bosses. I know this isn’t the best time to ask with everyone busy with Oblivion, but I appreciate any help you can give!

Just buy the dyes from guild traders. The recent event has made everything dirt cheap!

I think you might’ve misunderstood me—I’m looking for more achievement-related dyes!

Each base game zone has a tied achievement for its pathfinder. You’ll want to kill the six bosses and find six scenic viewpoints which are pretty straightforward. Plus, you get a solid dye for upgrading jewelry to gold and there’s the gold dye for the Hero of Elsweyr achievement. Just remember, PVP isn’t reliant on skill or gear; it’s mostly about participating in larger fights!

I think I might’ve completed the Hero of Elsweyr achievement, but I definitely haven’t done the gold jewelry upgrade. That sounds like a fun goal!

Thanks! Finding things in this game can be so tough. Player advice and wikis are really lifesavers. The achievement screen on consoles is such a hassle to navigate!

You can get some cool dyes from the ‘hero/savior/guardian of x’ achievements. Veteran dungeon cosmetics are among the easiest to collect, especially when you have a strong group. Also, motifs drop from veteran dungeons, though I’ve found plenty from daily quests too. Guild traders have motifs cheaper now due to the recent event!

Most of the dyes tied to dungeons and trials are actually pretty easy to grab, as long as you complete them in normal or veteran mode. Generally, dyes aren’t something you grind for unless you already have some achievements checked off.

That’s good to know! I don’t do dungeons since I’m not subscribed to ESO+, but I can see if I can stock up on more achievements during the next trial.

AdventurousDyer -

I focused on the main story quests to grab my dyes. There’s a lot of achievements related to finishing quests in each base game area, and if you do all the delves in those areas, you’ll net some more pretty quickly!

Totally going to tackle this next! I’ve never finished the DC quest line, haha. Sounds like it could be a great starting point!
