How Do I Download and Install The Broken Script Mod for Minecraft?

I’m having trouble downloading Java 21 to open the .jar file for The Broken Script mod. This mod is supposed to work with Minecraft version 1.20.1, but I can’t get the mod file to function properly. Any advice on how to get it set up would be greatly appreciated!

Just to clarify, you need Java 21 in order for some mods, especially those using Fabric, to work. If you haven’t installed it yet, just search for ‘Java 21’ online, and you should find the right way to set it up for running .jar files. After that, the mod needs to be placed in the correct folder to function!

You don’t actually run mod files directly; instead, you need to place them in your mods folder after installing a modloader like Forge or Fabric. Since The Broken Script is a Forge mod, make sure to download and install Forge Loader for version 1.20.1 first. Once that’s done, drop the mod file into the mods folder, and you should be good to go!
