I recently picked up a used PS4 Slim, and it came with two wired controllers. However, I’m having trouble connecting them. They work fine on my PC, but when I plug them into the PS4, nothing happens. I’ve tried resetting them multiple times and still no luck. I’m considering borrowing an original controller from a friend to see if that helps with the initial setup, since I think that might be the issue.

It sounds like the controllers you’re using might not be fully compatible with the PS4. Can you tell me what brand they are? Sometimes third-party controllers can cause issues during setup.
